Sea Pearl: castile soap

Made from pure Australian extra virgin olive oil our 100% olive oil castile soaps are naturally air cured for at least 9 months.  This is designed to produce the perfect bar to sooth sensitive skin. 

This unscented bar is the mildest soap in our range. 

Pure castile soap made from extra virgin olive oils (as dictated by Louis XIV in 1688) and sea salt is believed to have originated from the Crusades in the 11th century. 

It produces a pure white, hard soap when cured.

Even with a long cure pure castile can get soft if continually wet so we developed this soap with added sodium stearate. If you want a pure castile see our Sea Crystal soap.

Being handmade our soaps vary a little in size and colour from bar to bar and batch to batch.

Each bar measures approximately 8cm x 6cm x 27mm.

Each bar weighs at least 125g.
